School Day Off Cupcake Decorating Workshop! by Purposeful Cakes
1 hour Kids’ Cupcake Decorating Workshop
Date: Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from 11AM to Noon
Location: Purposeful Cakes – 33 Gorman Road, Brooklyn, CT 06324
Purposeful Cakes will be holding a fun-filled cupcake decorating workshop for children ages 7-12 years old.
Each child will decorate and take home one (1) dozen cupcakes that they will decorate themselves, with step by-step instructions by the instructor, Elodia Johnson-Riché, creative cake designer and owner of Purposeful Cakes. There is no baking involved. Rather, tons of fun learning how to decorate cupcakes the Purposeful Cakes way! Parents are welcome to stay or drop-off their child. Pick-up arrangements must be provided on signed registration form. Photo ID is required at pick-up if parent/guardian at pick-up is not the same person who dropped off the child.
All materials and decorating tools (spatulas, piping bags, aprons, etc.) are provided by Purposeful Cakes.
FOR $35, EACH CHILD WILL RECEIVE:
1 Dozen (12) cupcakes in a cupcake box to take home

Liability: Participation in Purposeful Cakes’ Cupcake Decorating Workshop will involve the use of cake decorating equipment/tools. It is understood and expressly agreed to by the parent/guardian, to release, indemnify and hold harmless Purposeful Cakes and its Owner, from any and all liability of any kind for any damage and/or injury incurred in connection with the student’s attendance in the Workshop.
Waiver: It is understood that as the parent/ guardian, you accept the risks inherent in the preparation and eating of food that has been prepared during class. Further, you also agree that you will not let your child/children participate if he/she/they have had a fever in the past 24 hours, have an active cough and frequently need to blow their nose.
Allergies: Purposeful Cakes is not a nut-free facility. However, food allergies are taken very seriously and I do my best to accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions. I cannot guarantee that certain pre-packaged ingredients purchased from vendors have been produced in nut-free facilities. Drop-off & Pick-up: Please arrive on time (and no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the start of the Workshop) to ensure your child is able to fully participate in the activities and gets the best experience. If parent/guardian is dropping off the child, please return to pick up no later than 10 minutes after the end of the Workshop.
